Halverson’s appreciates the dedication of the hard water fisherman Lake Trout Tournament

and their quest for the lake trout. To show our appreciation and of course just to have some fun we have put up $500 dollars winner takes all for the guest who catches the heaviest lake trout. We have provided each cabin with two scales to take with you while fishing. Please leave the scales when you leave!! As we promote big fish being released all we need to enter your fish is a clear picture of your fish on the scale and one readable scale reading on the photo. Remember we are promoting catch and release when it comes to big fish. When you enter your fish we will record what you have told us for weight, as we know cameras are not always reliable. The rules are simple because in the end it’s just for fun and The Quest for the Best Lake Trout of the Season.

Rules:

·All Ontario Fishing Regulations must be followed

·You may enter as many fish as you catch and release or keep within your daily limit from Crow Lake

·Contest will run from January 1st, 2009 – March 31st, 2009

·Contestants must be a guest staying with Halverson’s

·There is no entry fee

·Winner and photos of fish entered will be posted on our website at www.halversonsoncrowlake.com

·In the case of any decisions that need to be ruled upon during the contest such as cheating or weight discrepancies

       these matters will be handled by our guides and the Halverson’s. This contest is for fun and the title of being the best of             the 2009 season please keep it that way, lying about the length in your story….priceless, lying about the weight to

       win….not very fisherman like.
