The Macheledt family have for years supported Halverson's.
Over the years they have become friends not just guests.
Tom a guide in Battle Lake, and Deb his wife who works at a tackle shop and knows what she is talking about, have a son named Ty.
Ty is an avid and accomplished bass fisherman.
One day Ty and Dave talked about a 2007 Border Water Bass Tournament. Well they had it. They went to South Narrow Lake and fished out of the same boat for a four hour period. Top five fish of the day weighed and tallied at the end. *Fish were caught and weighed then released*
It was close.
The trophy donated by Ty is now resting peacefully in our living room on Canadian soil. Regardless of what happens next year (Dave hopes to defend, GO CANADA) This is alot of fun and we absolutely enjoyed it!
